LIVERPOOL Council will hold the Bicentenary Clive Graham Fun Run on Sunday, September 12.
The event starts in Greenway Park, Greenway Drive, West Hoxton.
There are two courses for participants to choose from over six kilometres (8.15am) and the 10-kilometre event (8am).
Participants can enter as a group, school, business or individual, and can register online for $10 per person before noon, Saturday, September 11, at www.liverpool.nsw.gov.au.
Li verpool Mayor Wendy Waller is encouraging the community to join in and celebrate Liverpool's Bicentenary. She says people can come along and have fun, go for a run or walk and win some great prizes.
The fun run is dedicated to the late Clive Graham, who was hugely respected for his outstanding contribution to developing sporting opportunities in Liverpool and South West Sydney.
``Liverpool Council is giving residents of Western Sydney an opportunity to participate in a major sporting event on their doorstep,'' Waller said.
``It is also a fantastic way to showcase our region and promote healthy, active lifestyles.''
