WESTERN Suburbs Magpies NSW Cup team will tackle rivals in the 2011 NSW Cup rugby league competition.
"It's all systems go as far as I have been told by Wests Ashfield," Magpies coach Trevor Schodel said.
Wests Ashfield has provided the $300,000 funding to meet expenses.
"The players are keen and ready to play" Schodel said.
"We are training four times a week."

Schodel was only appointed to the job a few weeks before Christmas.
"We're not sure what is going on next year, but that's next year, all I am concerned about is this year and getting ready for it," Schodel said.
He said the Magpies are playing trials against Cabramatta on Saturday, February 11, at New Era Stadium, Cabramatta, 6pm.
A second trial is against Manly's NSW Cup team on Saturday, February 18, at Brookvale Oval, 5.45pm.
The Magpies' opening NSW Cup premiership game is against Manly on Saturday, March 3, at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, 3pm.
In recent days there has been much speculation about the future of the Magpies' NSW Cup team. Next year the Magpies NSW Cup is expected to be scrapped with players from the Wests and Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers teams combining to play as one entity. However, the Western Suburbs Magpies would enter the SG Ball Cup and Harold Matthews competitions as a single entity.
