LITTLE Athletics discus record setter Jessica Stikovic is primed for another big performance at next month's regional titles.
The Western Blues Little Athletics Club, Austral member recently through the discus 37.47 metres at the central west metropolitan zone titles at Dwyer Oval, Warwick Farm.
The record-busting throw served notice to rivals she means business in future competition.
Jessica's outstanding performance qualified the teenager for the regional titles to be held at Blacktown International Sportspark on February 18-19.
The event brings together several hundred track and field competitors from Little Athletics clubs.
Jessica is one of 25 Western Blues Little Athletics Club members who will compete at Rooty Hill.
"That's a great achievement from our club," Western Blues Little Athletics Club president Tracey Liondas said.
"The regional titles are for athletes aged between eight and 17.
"We had 35 athletes from our club compete at zone titles."
Western Blues long jumper Kayde Richards broke the zone record in the boys under 8s event.
Jessica, who turned 15 yesterday, said she hopes to maintain her form next month.
"I will be there doing my best," she said.
Jessica, who stands 174 centimetres tall, has experienced growth spurts in recent months, which has further boosted her physical strength.
She will compete in hammer, discus and shot put at the Athletics NSW Junior and Youth Championships at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre on February 10-13.
