Bulls in grand final

18 Aug, 2010 01:00 AM
LIVERPOOL Bulls first grade team has surged into the NSW Suburban Rugby Union sixth division grand final.

They defeated Clovelly 19-10 on Saturday in the knockout final at the Wills Ground, Canterbury.

Liverpool Bulls' president Justin Lowsaid the club is thrilled reaching the grand final.

The Bulls tackle their major semi-final conqueror Redfield in the decider on Saturday at the Wills Ground at 3pm.

Redfield defeated the Bulls 34-24 in the major semi-final and Low said their opponents were too good on the day.

``It's been a tremendous effort from the players and the coaching staff this season,'' Low said.

``Grand finals are a whole new ball game and the players will be fired up to play well and do their best.

``We're in it to win it.''
