IT'S out with the old playing strip and in with the new one at Austral Soccer Club this season.
The club's light blue and dark blue colours remain but a splash of white has been added to the sharp-looking shirts, shorts and socks.
Austral president Kevin Campbell said club sponsor Joe Romeo is the man who helped to provide the new-look apparel for players and officials.
Romeo, of Austral, works for sports apparel company Gearonline Sports Group at Wetherill Park.
"Joe lives a just a soccer free kick from our home ground at W.V. Scott Memorial Park," Campbell said.
"After discussions between the club and Joe we worked out the type of design we wanted and we ordered the gear. And now it's ready for the new season.
"Joe has been a longtime supporter of Austral soccer and our local community. He's a fantastic person.
"Not only are the players wearing the new gear, the club committee, coaches, managers and official are as well.
"We have a dark-blue shirt design, while the players' shirt is predominantly light blue with a splash of white."
Austral under 12s player Nicholas Morrison said he liked the new playing outfits.
"They look good and we are keen for the season to start," Nicholas, of West Hoxton, said.
The club is holding further team trials tomorrow, Thursday, February 9, at W.V. Scott Memorial Park, 6pm, for its under 13s, 15s and 16s teams.
Campbell said the club will hold another day on Sunday, February 12, 10am-2pm at W.V Scott Memorial Park.
