Austral need a few more soccer kids

Soccer kids

Austral Soccer club is still seeking under 10s. The club trains at WV Scott Memorial Park. Austral plays in the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association. Games resume on Saturday, April 30, after the Easter break.

Trojans thumped

West Sydney Trojans US Football under 18s were thumped 44-14 by UTS Spartans on Friday night at Craik Park, Austral. There are no games played over Easter. The Trojans' next match is round nine on April 29 at Craik Park, Austral, 9pm, against Bondi Raiders.

Netball break

Bringelly Sports club netball teams have a break over Easter. The club's six teams resume their competition rounds on April 30 at Kirkham Park, Elderslie.

Secon d stint

Peter Hardgrove is back as chairman of NRL club Wests Tigers. Hardgrove was chairman when the Tigers won their first NRL title in 2005.
