Police found 13-year-old Mariah Gobert at Campbelltown train station yesterday afternoon.
The Ingleburn teen had been missng since Thursday, August 5.
The Campbelltown Police commuter crime unit picked her up from the station at 5.45pm yesterday and took her home, where she was reunited with her mother.
A Macquarie Fields Police spokesman said that she was not injured.
``It was clear she was staying somewhere because she was not dishevelled,'' he said.
He confirmed that she had run away from home but was not forthcoming with any information about her motivations.
He said as far as the police were aware the family was not know to the Department of Community Services.
Mariah had told her mother that she was going to the movies with friends at Liverpool on Thursday.
Her mother did not hear from her for several days and reported her missing on Sunday.
Police spoke to Mariah's friends, who all claimed they didn't know where she was. She also did not go to school, at Fairfield, all week.
