Liverpool's Michael Clarke has reached a double century on the second day's play for Australia against India in the fourth Test at the Adelaide Oval.

The Australian cricket captain, who recently made a personal best highest score of 329 not out in the third Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground, reached his double century before lunch in Adelaide.

The 30-year-old batsman, playing in his 81st Test, has now scored 19 centuries at this level.

Clarke struck 26 fours and one six in his stay at the crease and was bowled after lunch for 210.
